Hennig Wins HPT Prairie Meadows

Matt Hennig Wins Latest HPT Event

The latest stop for the Heartland Poker Tour in the U.S. was in Altoona, Iowa. The Prairie Meadows Racetrack Casino Hotel hosted the poker tournament series from March 8 to March 17, with several preliminary events leading up to the Main Event.

The $213,736.80 prize pool was used to pay out the top 18 finishers, and the final table of nine received most of it. Matt Hennig was the eventual winner, and he was awarded $57,709 and an HPT Championship package for the victory. (Information provided by Heartland Poker Tour.)

8th place: David Daughton ($7,588)

9th place: Allen Kessler ($6,412)
