Irani Wins WSOPC Indiana, WPT to St. Maarten, Mizrachi Leaves Lock

Zal Irani Wins Latest WSOPC Main Event

The World Series of Poker Circuit was at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana until October 14, which was when the latest $1,675 NLHE Main Event wrapped. What started with 301 players and a $451,500 prize pool finished with Zal Irani in the winner’s circle with more than $106K in prize money, not to mention the WSOPC gold ring.

The final table results were as follows:

1st place: Zal Irani ($106,103)

2nd place: Michael Hahn ($65,603)

3rd place: Sean Lippel ($47,647)

4th place: Ryan Jones ($35,194)

5th place: Nicholas Phillips ($26,422)

6th place: Robert Geith ($20,150)

7th place: Robert Georato ($15,608)

8th place: Allan Vrooman ($12,272)

9th place: Donald Crabtree ($9,793)

WPT Schedules St. Maarten Event

The World Poker Tour announced a new stop on its current season, and the WPT Caribbean event will take place in St. Maarten from November 19-24, 2013. The $3,500 buy-in reentry tournament will feature two starting days and be filmed for future broadcast on FOX Sports Network.

The Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino will host the festivities, and the tournament will begin each day at 4:00pm in order to give players time to enjoy the beach and sunshine.

There will also be a WPT party on November 20 at 6:00pm for all players and guests.

Mizrachi Ends Deal With Lock Poker

Michael Mizrachi, known to most in poker as the Grinder, has announced the end of his endorsement deal with Lock Poker. The deal originated in January 2013.

No reason was given for the split, but Mizrachi said he will release a statement.

Some of the pros still representing Lock include Annette Obrestad, Felipe Ramos, Melanie Weisner, and Eric Lynch.
