Kroon Bar Robbed, Shulman and Giardina Honored

Mark Kroon’s Bar Robbed

Poker pro Mark Kroon, better known to some as P0ker H0, owns a bar called Players Sports Bar in Madison, Wisconsin. Earlier this week, the bar was robbed late at night. Two armed men took money from the bartender and wallets from customers, sprayed everyone with what they believed to be pepper spray, and departed.

According to PokerNews, Kroon was not there at the time of the robbery. The suspects are still on the loose.

Shulman and Giardina in WiPHoF

The nomination and voting period is over for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame, and the two women who will be inducted this year are Allyn Jaffrey Shulman and Deborah Giardina.

Shulman is a member of the Card Player family, as well as a longtime gaming attorney and WSOP bracelet winner. Giardina is VP of Poker Operations at bestbet Jacksonville and has run poker rooms at other locations, including Wynn Las Vegas.

The women will be honored at a WiPHoF luncheon on June 25 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Anyone is welcome to attend for $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
