UKIPT Nottingham Result, MPN Heading for London

McLellan Wins Second UKIPT Title

The finale of one of the largest UKIPT Main Events in the tour’s history got underway earlier today and despite Willie Elliot leading the way at the start of play it was Duncan McLellan who scooped the title.

When play began Elliot was able to take control in the early stages, but as the field began to thin and players fell by the wayside it was McLellan than improved his position.

Indeed, as the likes of Ryan Spittles and Elliot lost their stacks, McLellan took the event heads-up after eliminating Trevor Pearson in third place.

With more than half the chips in play now in his possession a deal was struck before the action resumed.

Leaving £34,000 on the table and taking a guaranteed £168,372, McLellan gradually pressured Angelo Milioto into submission before delivering a knockout blow to earn his second UKIPT title in just seven months.

UKIPT Nottingham Main Event Final Result:

1st. Duncan McLellan – £202,372

2nd. Angelo Milioto – £143,728

3rd. Trevor Pearson – £89,900

4th. Willie Elliot – £67,000

5th. Ryan Spittles – £51,700

6th. Juan Benito – £38,400
