WPT Caribbean Final Table Preview

It will be an international affair at the WPT Caribbean Final Table on Sunday as all six participants hail from different countries, including Marvin Rettenmaier, who has a lot riding on the event…

MAD MARVIN MARVELS

Marvin Rettenmaier GPIFor Marvin Rettenmaier (GPI#3), there is way more than just another win on the live tournament circuit on the line. Mad Marvin, ranked #3 on the GPI and #9 on the GPI Player of the Year leaderboard is about to pickup a LOT of points … and he’s about to make things interesting late, for a second year in a row.

But Rettenmaier isn’t only chasing GPI glory, a win would be the third of his career on the WPT. He would join Carlos Mortensen and Gus Hansen as the only players to ever win three times in World Poker Tour history.

DUNST’S RAW DEAL

Tony Dunst GPIWPT “The Raw Deal” host Tony Dunst (GPI#1053) will get the opportunity to analyze his own play during a segment once the WPT Caribbean event hits the airwaves in 2014 should he chose to do so.

Sunday will mark Dunst’s second appearance at a WPT Final Table. Dunst, who also final tabled WPT Jacksonville in the spring of 2012, will enter Sunday’s play with the tiniest of chip leads, but a chip lead nonetheless.

Reigning WPT Mazagan winner Giacomo Fundaro (GPI#88) also qualified for final table play. The Italian will be looking to become a two-time member of the WPT Champions Club on Sunday.
