WPT Grand Prix de Paris Final Table Preview

Belarusian Vasili Firsau is ceratinly going to be the man to beat as Final Table play is set at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris…

FIRSAU vs. THE FIELD

Vasili Firsau (GPI#392) has a strangle hold on the competition as he starts FT play with over half of the chips in play at well over 2M chips – a 2.013M chip advantage on his closest competitor. To say that Firsau, who most recently enjoyed a deep run at EPT London, is the man to beat is a HUGE understatement.

SECOND FT IN A ROW FOR CHARANIA

Mohsin Charania GPIFor Mohsin Charania (GPI#50) it’s a second straight final table appearance at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris. Charania, who finished fifth in the event last season – which was won by his buddy Matt Salsberg – will start the day fourth in chips this time around and will certainly be looking to better his 2012 performance at the Aviation Club de France.

Charania rose to stardom in 2012 when he won the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

CAN LINDLEY PULL IT OFF?

Christina Lindley GPIWPT One to Watch Christina Lindley (GPI#1572) is hoping to do what no woman has ever done before in the history of the World Poker Tour. Lindley, who comes into Wednesday’s action with the second best chip stack, would become the first woman ever to win an open WPT event with a victory in Paris.

With Firsau holding over half the chips, the odds are certainly against Lindley but she will certainly give it her all – many eyes will be on the acePLAY Team Pro.
