WSOP Europe: Lacay Tops Day 1B Chip Counts

One day after coming close to the first WSOP bracelet of his poker career, French pro Ludovic Lacay (GPI#672) wasted no time getting over Saturday’s disappointment…

RIGHT BACK TO BUSINESS

Ludovic Lacay GPILacay ends Day 1B play with the chip lead, a very impressive feat just 24 hours after finishing second to Noah Schwartz (GPI#25) in the PLO Mixed-Max bracelet event on Saturday.

Lacay’s 163K chip stack allows him to take the overall chip lead into Monday’s Day 2 play with fellow Day 1B contender and WPT Champions Club member Ravi Raghavan (GPI#23) breathing down his neck.

Poker superstar Igor Kurganov (GPI#12) and WSOP bracelet winners Loni Harwood (GPI#746) and Jason Duval (GPI#365) are all top contenders following Day 1B play.

Registration is still open until the start of Day 2 play at Noon in Enghien-les-Bains … we should receive final numbers soon thereafter!
