GPI November Player of the Month: Bryn Kenney

Congratulations go out to Bryn Kenney (GPI#6) – Global Poker Index Player of the Month for November 2013:

ROAD TRIP TO AMSTERDAM

Bryn Kenney GPIBryn Kenney’s decision to make a return trip to Amsterdam to play the Master Classics of Poker was certainly a good one! After final tabling the Main Event at the Master Classics last year, Kenney’s 2013 visit would prove to be even more profitable.

Kenney started things off by once again cashing in the MCOP Main Event, earning a 12th place finish this time around. But it’s his performance in the 10K High Roller event that put him over the top this month. Kenney would go on to defeat Dutch veteran Govert Metaal (GPI#153) heads-up and collect the € 102,960 top prize.

The two results were enough for Kenney to scoop up GPI Player of the Month honours for November.

MCOP CHAMP IS RUNNER-UP

Noah Boeken GPIMaster Classic of Poker Main Event Champion Noah Boeken (GPI#538) was this month’s runner-up for Player of the Month.

After five quiet years on the live circuit, Boeken has enjoyed a resurgence in 2013 with his MCOP victory in his hometown. Boeken also earned a 26th place finish at the EPT Grand Final this past May in Monte Carlo.
