WPT World Championship Final Table Preview

Hope you still have some popcorn left after the final table at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown as the final table lineup for the WPT World Championship is a stacked one to say the least…

CURRENT GPI PoY LEADS THE WAY

Keven Stammen GPICurrent GPI Player of the Year leader Keven Stammen (GPI#58) is about to add to his lead, BIG TIME!

Stammen stands to add about 150 PoY points at the very least at the WPT World Championship … but the Ohio man could be adding way more points as he will begin final table play as the chip leader.

The WSOP bracelet winner, who was named GPI Player of the Month in March, will carry 5.6M chips into final table play, 1.6M ahead of his closest competitor, Byron Kaverman (GPI#58).

MILLION DOLLAR MEN

Ryan D'Angelo GPIAll members of the final table have earned at least 1M USD on the live tournament circuit … that just proves that this final table is stacked.

The one to have won the most out of the six? Veteran grinder Curt Kohlberg (GPI#860), who’s first six-figure score came at the World Poker Finals in the year 2000. Kohlberg has earned a total of 2.39M USD in his long and illustrious career.

Ryan D’Angelo has earned the biggest single-event score out of the group. D’Angelo earned $700,000 for his third place finish at the 2011 PCA.

Tune into WPT.com starting at 4:00pm ET on Saturday to watch the live stream (on 30-minute delay) featuring Dave Farra. Scott Baumstein, Jamie Kerstetter and Kara Scott will serve as analysts for the event. PokerNews GPI Update Podcast co-host Rich Ryan will take part in a special 30-minute pre-game show.
