LAS VEGAS, January 11, 2023 – The date for the 4th Annual Global Poker Awards has been set. The Global Poker Index® (GPI) and The Hendon Mob (THM) along with PokerGO® will host the awards inside the PokerGO Studio at Aria Resort & Casino on Friday, March 3.

Over 25 awards will be presented including GPI Player of the Year, Poker ICON, Players’ Choice for Toughest Opponent, and Best Vlogger. The full list of categories will be announced later this month. The entire awards show will be presented live and exclusively on PokerGO beginning at 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT.

One of the new categories to be announced is the Rising Star in Content Creation. This award will be presented to a new content creator who made the biggest impact in 2022. The first round of voting is set to begin shortly.

Poker fans will once again have their say at this year’s Global Poker Awards. At last year’s awards, poker fans voted on their fave hand, trophy, and poker personality. Fans Choice is set to return with several categories including a new category: Fave Live Stream.

Some of the winners from the third annual awards will look to add some more hardware to their shelves. Both Brad Owen and Jamie Kerstetter picked up their second Global Poker Award in 2022. Owen won for Best Vlogger and Kerstetter collected Best Twitter Personality. Other notable winners included Benjamin Spragg (Best Streamer), Johan Guilbert (GPI Breakout Player), and Japan’s Masato Yokosawa (Fans Choice: Best Poker Personality).
