GPI Tournament Report: HPT Oklahoma, ACOP Deepstack + More

We take you to Oklahoma, Macau and Minnesota in this week’s GPI Tournament Recap:

HPT OKLAHOMA

Allen Kessler GPIThe Heartland Poker Tour continued its journey throughout the US with a stop in Oklahoma. The HPT visited the Indigo Sky Casino in Wyandotte for the very first time where Reginald Roberts (GPI#4833) earned the win in the event.

The Chainsaw, Allen Kessler (GPI#148) continued his hot streak on the Heartland Poker Tour with a ninth place finish here in Oklahoma. Kessler made his fourth HPT final table appearance of the 2013 season.

ACOP DEEPSTACK CHAMPIONSHIP

ACOP LogoThe Asia Championship of Poker is back and the Deepstack Championship was held over the weekend.

The UK’s Tommy Zhang was the big winner, collecting over 420K HKD for 1st place. Japan’s Makoto Yoshimichi (GPI#874), who finished third in the event, won a $2,500 Deep Stack Extravaganza event at the Venetian in Las Vegas this past summer.

FALL POKER CLASSIC

FPC LogoThe Fall Poker Classic at the Canterbury Park Card Club in Shakopee, Minnesota has concluded.

Adam Dahlin (GPI#33919) won the event, outlasting the 395-player field. Everett Carlton (GPI#524) final tabled the event. Carlton finished third in NLH Event #17 this past summer at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Carlton collected over 224K USD for his WSOP score … he has totalled 17 cashes so far this season.
