#GPIEPA | The Countdown is On!
The 13th edition of the GPI European Poker Awards kicks off in just a few hours:
COUNTDOWN TO THE #GPIEPA
The #GPIEPA are set to begin around 7:30pm CET (1:30pm ET) with the presentation of the National Player of the Year Awards. Stephen Chidwick (UK), Davidi Kitai (Belgium) and Joni Jouhkimainen (Finland) are amongst the stars who will be picking up their PoY trophies tonight.
Once the PoYs are done, we’ll move onto the individual awards. Winners will be selected for Rookie of the Year, Best Tournament Performance, Poker Industry Person of the Year, Internet Player of the Year and European Event of the Year. Also presented will be awards for Live European Player of the Year, Europe’s Leading Lady, the Rob Gardner Memorial Award for Poker Personality of the Year as well as the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 13th Global Poker Index European Poker Awards will take place later today at the “Salle des Ambassadeurs” at the Casino de Deauville as part of the EPT Deauville Festival. The event is presented by PokerStars and Lucien Barriere Hôtels et Casinos.
