Seminole Hard Rock Sets Next 10M Tourney

Florida poker fans get ready, the 2014 edition of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown will see its prize pool quadruple – and that’s a guarantee!

SHR MAKES A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

The Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida announced just a little while ago that the 2014 edition of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Showdown would carry a guaranteed 10M USD prize pool, matching the guarantee they had promised for the hugely successful Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open which GPI Player of the Month for August Blair Hinkle (GPI#191) won.

This year’s SHR Showdown’s buy-in is set to remain the same at $5,300 USD; and although the official dates for the tournament have yet to be announced, it is expected that the tournament will take place around the same time that it did last season and is expected to once again feature re-entries.

Before the big tour makes its way to Hollywood, the Seminole Hard Rock will first host the WPT Regional Rock N Roll Poker Open at the end of November.
