WPTN Brussels: Pick Koen De Visscher

FPM logoNOTE: This player has qualified for Day 2 play.  He finished Day 1A with a little over double his starting chip stack.

Koen De Visscher (GPI: 256) is no stranger to the big stage.  Just last March De Visscher was battling it out at the final table of EPT Campione.  A year before that, he was winning his first PokerStars SCOOP title and final tabling another EPT event, EPT Snowfest.

De Visscher also finished 22nd at the PokerStars Hold’em Challenge Winter Edition last December in his home country.  He also has two other cashes in Belgium on the live tournament circuit.

These are the exact reasons why you should take a long look at De Visscher when making your selections for WPTN Brussels, now underway at the Grand Casino Brussels Viage in Belgium.

Known as JeankeNissan online, De Visscher ended Day 1A play with a 68K chip stack, a little over double his starting stack.  Although he doesn’t own a top stack, he still looks to be in great shape as Day 2 play is set to begin on Saturday.

Like his countryman Davidi Kitai, who I covered earlier, De Visscher will have tremendous pressure on his shoulders to win this WPT National event in his home country, but from what we know of the Belgian, he should have no trouble handling the stress.

Other notables who moved onto Day 2 include:
Christophe Pereira, Michel Abecassis, Bruno Fitoussi, Paul Berende and Nicolas Levi.

Notables who were eliminated and may re-enter on Day 1B:
Davidi Kitai, Ilan Boujenah, Roger Hairabedian, Philippe Ktorza, Timothy Reilly, Kenny Hallaert, Benjamin Pollak and Thibaud Guenegou.

Koen De Visscher (BEL) | GPI #256 | FPM 31,670
Best WPT National Brussels Result: Never cashed
Career WSOP, WPT, EPT: 0 wins, 9 cashes,  $466,812

Why should I add Kitai to my team?
> Home-field advantage
> Affordable market price (31K)
> Has done well in major events in the past few seasons

Ready to Make the Move an add Koen De Visscher to your team?  Head on over to Facebook and signup to play the GPI Fantasy Poker Manager … lineups for WPT National Series Brussels lock on Saturday at 1PM CET (7AM ET).
