FPM Barcelona Winners Include Hoivold, McDonald
The GPI’s Fantasy Poker Manager game included prizes for the Top 20 Managers during the most recent tour stop on the European Poker Tour, in Barcelona.
FORMER EPT CHAMPS GET IT DONE
Former EPT Dortmund Champions Andreas Hoivold (GPI#1055) and Mike “Timex” McDonald (GPI#38) highlighted the list of names that collected Amazon gift cards with their fantasy managerial performances in the Barcelona Main Event.
EPT Season 3 Dortmund winner Hoivold finished in sixth position while McDonald, who won Dortmund one year later in Season 4, was the ninth best Manager.
THE TEAM TO BEAT
Matej Gazo of Slovakia was the big winner, besting all other Fantasy Managers to claim the top prize. Led by final table participant Kimmo Kurko (GPI#1041), Matej was able to collect just under 900 total points in the tournament.
