WSOPC IP Biloxi: Boston Rob Final Tables Main

He may very well be the most recognized American “reality” star ever – we’ll remove the Kardashians and anyone from the Jersey Shore since, well, that’s not really reality, is it? – one of the biggest stars to ever come out of the popular American series “Survivor”, “Boston” Rob Mariano (GPI#-) will make his final table debut in a major tournament on the live tournament circuit later today in Biloxi, Mississippi.

SURVIVOR WINNER

Boston Rob did something popular poker pro Jean-Robert Bellande (GPI#8060) couldn’t do when he won Survivor : Redemption Island in 2011. In total, Mariano has participated in four Survivor events … he was also part of the Amazing Race on two different occasions – playing with fellow Survivor participants-turned Mrs. Mariano, Amber. Poker players Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle also participated on the Amazing Race in the past.

LOW IN CHIPS IN BILOXI

Now although getting to the final table is one thing, Mariano will be in a very undesirable position once play starts at Noon CT. Rob will start the day in 7th chip position. Add to that the fact that chip leader Raymond Weaver (GPI#4372) is to his immediate right and things could get very complicated in a hurry … he’ll need to pull all of his “Survivor” tactics in order to survive this one.

Circuit ring winner Daniel Lowery (GPI#2799) is also in contention – starting the day in second chip position … this will be his fourth Circuit Main Event participation, Lowery will be looking for his first WSOPC ME victory.
