Think you may have missed something during the holiday period? We’ve got you covered…

SOME ACTION ON THE FELT

Bryan Devonshire GPIThe good news if you were away for the holidays is that you didn’t miss much on the felt. Following Julian Thomas’ win (yes, ANOTHER German!) at WPT Prague, there were only a few events presented on the live tournament circuit including the Colorado Poker Championship:

The Golden Gates Casino & Poker Parlour in Black Hawk, Colorado played host to the 8th edition of the CPC as Frank Yakubson (GPI#8408) defeated 2-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Bryan Devonshire (GPI#1477) heads-up to win the Main Event. Thomas Fuller (GPI#950) and John Holley (GPI#363) were amongst the list of players who cashed in the event.

Mohamad Kowssarie GPIChristmas Poker Week at Casino Cosmopol in Gothenburg, Sweden ended with Mohamad Kowssarie (GPI#2284) taking the CPW Main Event crown. Kowssarie’s career accomplishments include a 3rd place finish at the 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship.

Over in the Netherlands, Jan Jansma (GPI#5730) won the Valkenburg Series of Poker at the Holland Casino in Amsterdam, defeating fellow Dutch player Kevin Lemmens heads-up for the title.
